HEATHER

I wonder what (if any) current-day app. we could glean from Genesis, when God put Adam in a deep sleep?

John W.

The epitome of strength and weakness all wrapped up into ONE. And in the end, Sampson said a PRAYER for God to end it all. Awesome delivery, Ed. I couldn't stop thinking about the Biblical body builder. I asked God for more wisdom in developing strength in Him and He lead me to Isaiah 7:9 Unless your faith is firm, I cannot make you firm.

Dear Pastor Ed,

Wow! What an amazing series you've started. It's really made me examine myself and my spiritual growth.
I'm a singer, and I've been assigned by my voice instructor to compose a song. I've been struggling with writing a song for months, but after I heard your message about waking up it inspired me and I got started writing my lyrics.
Thanks so much for the insight and inspiration!

P.S. I didn't steal the lyrics to your rock-a-bye believer song. Although it was tempting.:-)

Ed,
My husband and I are fortunate to get to serve on the media team this weekend so I was lucky enough to see 3 of your 4 sermons. I am so amazed how God uses you. It's as if he really does speak his words audibly. (Like in the Bible)
I am a stay at home mother of a 3 and 4 year old (12mos apart, I might add) and I wake up daily at 5:14 physically (seriously how weird is that?), but not necessarily spiritually. Sunday AM, Pace shared a short message that really was meant to encourage us that our Church/Ministry is a CAUSE, but It also went along the lines of Waking up for me in my daily life. He stated. “A JOB is something you have; a CAUSE is something that has you”.
I have woken up to the fact that being the Mother of my 2 children isn't just a JOB it is a CAUSE. I am the closest thing spiritually my children see on a daily basis and If I am not AWAKE Spiritually my children will never know what it looks like, what it feels like or how to be Awake. Thank you so much for the time, dedication and physical strain this is on you and your family. I pray my husband and children can see Christ living in me as I know not only your immediate family, but your Christian family sees.
With Christ love, Tiffany

As always the service this weekend was awesome! It is really neat to see different tools that can be used to teach the lessons of the bible. My teenage son and his friend were riveted to their seats and have spoken several times about it since. We all loved seeing you work on the portrait of Samson and the boys seemed to grasp the meaning of the message. Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for looking for new compelling ways to teach. My son has a friend who goes to Fellowship with us each week and never likes to miss!

What an inspiration you and your wife are to our family. We watch you every Sunday on T.V. and are moving to Flower Mound very soon. Looking forward to being an active part of the church! Thanks for being so real and for all you do!

Pastor Ed Young,

This was one of those Sundays where I prayed for God to speak to me through you... and I know He did.

You mentioned there are three people sitting in our seat... 1) Who we are 2) Who we can be if we follow God 3) Who we can be if we took our eyes off of God, and did our own thing.

The message really spoke to my heart. I know I have been fighting God, and like Samson overlooked the clear signs God showed me about the person I was dating... But thanks to the great sermon... I am ready to reach my maximum potential by becoming the person God wants me to be, and letting go of my own will. :-)

Thank you so much.

To see your commitment to Lisa and your kids is such an encouragement and I'm glad you lead Fellowship.

Looking forward to growing in Christ.

Toni

All of your services are great but there was something very moving about Saturday night's service. Thank you.

Ed,
Thank you for you sermon today.

I was only vaguely familiar with Samson's story before today. You really brought it to life for me and touched my heart with your message of the slippery slope of sin.

Keep up the good work.

Greg
