Incredible! This is better than the food network. But we all know Lisa is the true magician in the kitchen. We need to see a video of her putting together some killer cookin'. Then we will wash it down with some Ed/Luca Italian espresso!

Friendships are such a great blessing in our lives...it was good to see your family enjoying time with another Fellowship couple. Thanks for continuing to bring us along as you live out your commitment to Christ...we are all learning from your example.

Ed...It is SO funny that you mention bed bugs in your video blog today!...let me tell you the Gramling story :)...in December, I purchased all new bedding from a very "reputable" store for our 13 year old son's bedroom as we were re-doing his room. Well, unknowing to me at the time, the new comforter was infested with bed bugs...when my son went to bed that night, he came downstairs in the middle of the night covered in bites...of course, Troy was out of town, so I totally freaked out...called my Pest Control Co. to come see what it was...Guess what? It was bed bugs!!! We had to throw everything in his room out, including all the furniture, rip up the carpet & totally start over in that room. Thank goodness, it was only contained to that bedroom...but man, what an ordeal for me! I HATE bugs, as it is, so this almost put me over the edge :)...but the funny thing is...I told Troy, "who else does something like this happen to except us?" (as I was having my little pity party :)...and then I watch your video blog & hear it happened to you as well...so we're not alone!!!

BED BUGS!!!! Ed - Unfortunately, I've had experience with bed bugs at an upscale hotel in Albuquerque, NM. After I got into bed, I thought my skin was itching because of the dry climate. Before long, I knew it was more than itchy skin! I got up, looked in the mirror and noticed red dots across my side. I checked the sheets and noticed extremely small particles of some kind. It turns out they were bed bugs!!
When I travel now, I always check the sheets before I lay down. If you look close enough, you can see them if they exist!
Now I'm itching all over just thinking about them!!!

You need to ditch that electric gizmo and start brewing with a stovetop Moka pot. Like the cubans do in Miami! Enjoying the videos though!

Thanks for the espresso update! The bedbug question brought back some bad memories from a stay at a VERY reputable hotel. The chimi-chi's will mess you up!

Pastor Young are you sure your tamping with 30-40lbs of pressure? I don't see how you are getting such little volume on such a light tamp. I suggest you grind a little coarser. Keep it up though, i'm enjoying your espresso videos.
